With more than 40 years of experience in the communications industry, 30 of which have been with Ogilvy and WPP, T.B. Song is arguably one of the most experienced ad men in China. T.B. began his career in Taiwan in the 1970s. In 1991 he was named Chairman of O&M China, with the responsibility of developing the mainland China market, starting with Shanghai. In 1998 he became a member of the O&M Worldwide Board. T.B. is often recognized for his vast contributions to the Chinese ad industry. He became Chairman of WPP Greater China in 2006 and was named among Campaign’s “Global Power List 2010.”
Chris is Chief Executive for the Ogilvy Group in Asia, with responsibilities for the strategic development and daily operations of the agency across 14 markets. He is a member of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Executive Leadership Board.
In 2019, under Chris’s leadership, Ogilvy was named Campaign Asia’s Creative and Digital Network of the Year. In 2017, he was named Asia Pacific Agency Head of the Year. Ogilvy was the first agency in China to win a Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions and has been consistently one of the most awarded agencies in Asia.
Over the last two decades, Chris has held several senior management positions in various offices within the Ogilvy Group, running local offices, regional units such as Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and working with major regional and worldwide clients.
Very few Chief Creative Officers have had the opportunity or experience of having worked across five continents; and even fewer still have been as successful as Reed Collins in producing so many award winning advertising ideas in each and every one of these vastly diverse markets. In his position as Chief Creative Officer for Ogilvy Asia, Reed helps create award-winning campaigns for leading local and international clients. He has also had the honor of serving as juror on many panels of these prestigious shows over his 20-year career. And extremely humbled that some of his work features as part of the permanent collection at the MoMa NYC.
Mickey leads a strong team of planners that work to uncover and decipher consumer insights across Asia Pacific markets. Mickey’s wide roster of clients spans categories and geographies and includes renowned international and domestic Chinese brands. He is an active speaker and lecturer on brand building and communications in mainland China and Hong Kong and also contributes greatly to Ogilvy’s thought leadership.
Joining Ogilvy in 2005, Stephen Wai believes that continuous innovation, thinking “outside-the-box” and keeping up good team spirit are key success factors for a company. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Stephen spent 5 years with PCCW, where – in addition to financial experience – he gained a depth of knowledge in sales and marketing strategies. Stephen also accrued experience on various aspects of financial knowledge with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Goldman Sachs and a private investment company.
A native of Beijing, Selina joined Ogilvy Public Relations in 1999 and has been with Ogilvy & Mather ever since. Over the years, she has grown the IBM team into a sustainable technology practice for Ogilvy PR, pushing and developing it to keep Ogilvy ahead of the digital curve. Selina also helped build a highly successful, specialized automotive team, providing services to top international and local automotive brands since 2008. Selina has served as President of Ogilvy Beijing since 2016, where she is responsible for the leadership and management of the company’s work in Brands and Creativity, Advertising, Customer Engagement and Marketing, PR & Influence, Digital Marketing and Innovation. Today, Ogilvy Beijing is the largest local office in Ogilvy’s Asia-Pacific network.
Yuan Yong is an MBA graduate from Harvard Business School. He has been working in the brand building, marketing and communication industry for more than 20 years in China. Yong joined Ogilvy in 2011 as the Managing Director for Shanghai Office and has led the communication and marketing strategy work for multiple leading brands. Yong is a mad man in the advertising industry, as well as a creative mind in the business world. He is a firm follower brand influences and integrated communication solutions. He strongly believes that creativity with great passion will bring positive outcomes.
Sheilen Rathod is a digital marketing veteran with close to 20 years of experience, specialized in strategic branding and data-driven digital marketing. Over the years, he has worked with some of the world’s most influential brands across the US, Europe and Greater China. Sheilen joined Ogilvy Hong Kong in 2011 and was promoted two years later to Managing Director of OgilvyOne Hong Kong, leading and growing the team to be market leaders in digital and customer engagement. Sheilen is currently the President of Customer Experience & Commerce for Ogilvy Asia.
With more than 20 years of experience in tech marketing, public relations and business operations, Joe is recognized for his strategic counsel, industry insights, creative ideas and influential leadership. He also has a unique expertise growing business, developing staff, enhancing operation and driving strategy/execution. Joe Yu joined Ogilvy in 1999, relocating to Beijing in 2008 after a 9-year tenure as General Manager of Era Ogilvy Public Relations in Taipei.
In his current role as Group Managing Director of Ogilvy Beijing, Joe is responsible for key client counsel, issue/crisis consulting, communications/crisis training, business development, company operation and growth strategies.
